Words are inadequate in thanking you for making our 50th reunion so much fun. We litterally “twisted the night away” and relived our youth through your beautiful voices and varied repetoire of “our” music. You learning “You’ll Never Walk Alone” meant so much to us as it was the song we sang at graduation. Thank you for going the extra mile… We wish you MUCH success and thank you for making our 50th reunion a success.

Best Regards, Emily Myers

Dear LeAnn, Tavie Kathy and Brenda

Our club will long remember your performance at our rally at Antique Capital RV Park, especially our 20 year veterans (& club president). We are grateful that you cancelled your cruise because you certainly were the highlite of our rally. The four of you are an East Texas Treasure. Sincerely Richard & Linda Carter, 2011 Freightliner RV Haulers Club Presidents

I can eat a hamburger at every meal and be totally happy. I can watch your performance over and over and be fully entertained….wanting to watch you again. I want anyone reading this to be aware….if you are blessed with an opportunity to attend a Shake Rattle & Roll presentation, be prepared for an exceptional performance and uncontrollable smiling all the way home.

Billy and Clarissa Shewmaker, Burleson, Tx

We just set the bar way TOO HIGH having you all last year! It is impossible to find another 50’s group around that matches your talent and quality. Can’t wait to see you at RetroFest in October.

Jamie Huff, Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County

Thank you so much for all you do to keep the 50’s alive. We love your singing and it made the car show a big success.

Thanks for the super, professional performance. We had compliments from ” they are a great group with harmony, loved it” to the top East Texas compliment of ” there were no flies on that performance!”. Super, super job. If we keep our same format for next years program, we will surley be giving you a call. I will also recommend you to other electric cooperatives.

I’ve intended to write you a note all week and tell you how much I enjoyed the Shake Rattle & Roll show Friday Night (Mt Pleasant Civic Center, Mt Pleasant , Texas) I had lunch today with some of the women that went and we all agreed that it was a great show and don’t know why we did not linger and tell all of you how much we enjoyed it-If it had been in the 50’s, I’m sure we would have all been staying around “whooping and hollering”—I’ve told everone I saw a “Vegas” show in Mt Pleasant!!!!!

Thanks for the good show

Rae (The Spoonlady)

Filling the bill on Saturday night at the East Texas Senior Extravaganza were 4 lovely ladies all dressed in red and black. They called themselves Shake, Rattle, & Roll. When they opened their mouths and sang, the building was shaking, rattling and rolling. All of the songs brought back so many memories. Thank you ladies so much for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us. We bought one of your CD’s and play it every day.

We certainly enjoyed working with you at the McKool Smith Law Firm Christmas party! You were a big hit and we are still receiving compliments on your performance. You guys were there early and oh so flexible with the challenges we had with your performance space. Thank you so much for your professionalism and cheery attitude and dare I say Holiday spirit.

Debbie Meyers, Bravo Entertainment, Dallas, TX

What an awesome job you and the ladies did at the American Parkinson’s Disease Association’s Holiday Celebration!! I have had such amazing feedback from A lot of people who thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Kelly M. Pierson, CCRC, APDA Coordinator

I want to share with you the magical evening I just completed. Shake, Rattle & Roll performed at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Dallas and I was lucky enough to get to attend. What can I say…it was fantastic!! The stage was nostalgic, the costumes were reminiscent and the audience was on their feet!! The show just got better and better. They interact with the audience and everyone gets caught up in the show. Magically, for a few minutes, we were all teenagers again…. People were swaying to the music, clapping their hands, snapping their fingers and patting their feet. I saw old tired faces (mine included) relax and become young again. At one point I really thought I sounded good as I sang along. My husband even got up and did the Twist!!

The next to the last song one of the girls introduced the song by saying that she had served our country in the Army for 27 years and that she was proud of our country. The group pulled out American flags and they sang, “Proud to be an American.” I dare anyone to say that they were not moved. At the end of the song every single person was on their feet either saluting or with their hands over their heart. I was very proud to be in the room. There was unity in that audience and you could tell the girls meant every word they sang. If you have the opportunity to see their show, I promise you it is well worth the trip!! As a matter of fact, I feel very comfortable going on record saying, “Their show is the best cure for arthritis I have ever found!”

Thank you so much for performing at the “Retro Walk and Roll” event in October at the Tyler Rose Garden for the Alzheimer’s Association. It was one of our best events ever. You have an incredible sound, great humor. What can I say…we loved it!! Thank you!

Thanks to all of the members of Shake, Rattle & Roll and the crew for sharing your great talents with us at the 29th Hawkins Oil Festival. You were the “stars” of the evening’s entertainment. We appreciate the time you spent with us.

Tyler Morning Telegraph:

On Aug 8th, I had the opportunity to attend a concert of the group Shake, Rattle & Roll” at the Women’s Building Theatre in Tyler. This four-woman vocal-music group sings tightly harmonized songs from the 1950s and ‘60s, with some astoundingly synchronized choreographed dance moves. I was so impressed with the patriotic selections at the end of the show.

James A. Marples, Longview, TX

We wish to thank you for your outstanding performance for the Rose Capital Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. We have heard nothing but praise from our members about the talent that you all possess and how touched they were by your patriotism. Jim Snow, our President said that he had booked you to perform for us again next year and we all will be looking forward to that performance. May God Bless all of your lives with nothing but success and happiness. Keep safe!

Shirley Lindsay, Rose Capital Chapter MOAA

Shake, Rattle & Roll - There is nothing to say except you were awesome!! I had no idea such talent was local. Thank you so much for performing at the “Seniors Celebrate Life” event. Everyone absolutely loved you. It was great to see the seniors doing the Twist with you. Amazing!!

The members of our Car Club would like to thank you for performing at our 2nd Annual “Early Bird” Car Show held at Jarvis Christian College. In spite of the early morning rain, the show was a success. The entertainment you provided helped to make the show a success. The money you helped raise will be used to sponsor burned children to attend the summer camp.

Sincerely, Lone Star Lug Nuts

Dear Ladies, The Home Builders Association is still talking about the great performance you gave at our membership drive. Thank you for giving of your time and talent to making the evening extra special. We look forward to hearing you again.
